Smoothie & Sweetie

Myself, my husband and our almost 4 year old twins discovered smoothie and sweetie 3 years ago in pissouri bay. We have visited very frequently over the years even long before we became vegan, making trips to pissouri just to eat there. We are delighted that they have relocated to limassol and have already been twice in the week since relocation. Oops - but if you try it you will understand why! The food is all made in house by the owner karen and it is incredible. We have yet to find anything we dont like to eat there. From the veggie crackers to the protein cookies, the kale chips to probably sampling most smoothies on the menu we have always been delighted. If you just went for the cashew cheese dip alone you will not be disappointed (yes i have been just for the dip). The apple cake is amazing and we all love the mango, carrot and apricot cheesecake too, oh and the chocolate orange cheesecake. The acai superfood bowl is delicious and you have to try her matcha or turmeric latte - why did i decide to write this now... My mouth is watering. You will certainly be drawn in by the food but even that aside, it has always been a pleasure for us to visit karen. Our children adore her too. She has a wealth of knowledge about everything she makes down to the health benefits of every ingredient. While she is clearly passionate about her food and happy to chat about the nutrition and the health benefits and to make recommendations she does so with a gentle kindness that is never overbearing. You are always greeted with warmth and a smile that resonates throughout and compliments the calm atmosphere. Oh and you can also purchase herbal teas, natural skincare and health food suppliments and vegan protein powders in there too which i find incredibly useful as you dont have to make another trip elsewhere in limassol for these. I cannot rave about this place enough and so i highly recommend it to anyone.
