Papageno

Was nice and bright sitting on the terrace. They have a good menu selection, it's what I'd call European fusion. I've tried the tortellini with chicken and mushrooms, this was cooked to perfection, (it took me back to Italy). I've also tried their cheese burger, it's hard to make a very tasty burger but the high quality meat and simple ingredients left me not only salivating; but also left me thinking about the next one. Staff are friendly and service is relaxed and not in your face. Just how I like it! I'm hard to please but I loved this place and can see great potential there. I understand it's recently had owner and management change. It feels new and inviting and a cool place to drink coffee or beer/wine or just a place to visit for the food and service. There are lots of incidental plus's like be able to watch sports with or without the locals. They have a great selection of whiskey and there are vintage ornaments scattered about giving you a sense of being in a different place. It's clearly one of the best restaurants around. I'm going there on my next visit to North Cyprus.
